Director of Sales

This is a great opportunity for you if you’re a proven leader that is interested in working in a fast-paced, growing industry that is constantly evolving. STCR is a data-driven technology company catering to the grocery industry, selling best-in-breed products, in tandem with providing top-notch support, while offering a customer experience that is second to none.

STCR is seeking a Director of Sales to build out and maintain a world-class sales team. Your role will be to inspire a dedicated group of sales professionals, ensuring they are energized and on target with individual and team sales goals. You will interface daily with our entrepreneurial customer base, both domestically and internationally, to ensure the STCR sales team is delivering for them with stellar service and support.

In this role you will hire, train and develop sales representatives to be at the top of their game and producing results, coaching them in the process of solution selling. Our product set is complex and a highly integral part of our customers’ operations – your job will be to navigate the sales cycle with the team and work on closing business opportunities with the solutions we provide.

In this position you will be responsible for the planning and implementation of retail systems within a supermarket environment, as well as providing support, both on-site and remote, for our clients.

Responsibilities 

  • Systems implementation including setup, configure, deliver, install, train, and program systems & products
  • Provide customer support including periodic on-call duties
  • Outline alternatives and recommend solutions
  • Maintain systems and products by responding to requests; conducting tests; diagnosing problems; achieving resolution with the highest degree of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain records by documenting daily activity and project tasks
  • Create procedural and training documents as needed
  • Complies with regulations by adhering to codes, specifications, and policies
  • Updates job knowledge by completing re-certification; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications

Requirements

  • Strong IT technical background, including networking, OS, and application support
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and follow them through to a successful implementation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to travel to client locations and work overnight; approximately 50 percent travel
  • AAS or bachelor’s degree preferred from accredited institution
  • Experience working in an IT support role
  • Project Management experience in implementing technology in a business environment desired
  • Experience in supermarket or retail operations a plus

As a Help Desk Analyst you will be responsible for providing technical support via the phone and internet for our clients’ retail systems.

Qualifications

  • Strong IT technical background, including networking, OS, and application support
  • Ability to handle multiple calls and situations and follow them through to a solution
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work various shifts including weekends
  • Minimum AAS degree, Bachelors preferred from accredited institution
  • Minimum two years of experience working in an IT support role
  • Experience in supermarket operations a plus

Responsibilities

  • Respond to support requests regarding computer software, hardware, or network operations to resolve issues
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, recreate scenarios, test in lab environments, conduct computer diagnostics, work directly with hardware manufacturer and software development support teams
  • Install software on users’ computers
  • Document daily activity of all communication transactions, issues, and remedial actions taken
  • Author training materials and procedures
  • Present training to end users
  • Conduct evaluation of company products and services and recommend improvements
  • Provide good technical support and customer service via phone calls or emails
